Advancing next generation aquaculture in the U.S.
DyneAquaculture has joined forces with Midwest investors to form Inland Sea, envisioned to be the first large-scale RAS Atlantic salmon facility to break ground in the US (Harlan, IA). The Inland Sea facility will be bio-secure and efficient with anticipated weekly harvests of approximately 100,000 pounds (5.3 million pounds annually).
BRINGING SALMON PRODUCTION TO THE U.S. HEARTLAND
Inland Sea is an Iowa business set to build a state-of-the-art recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) facilities for salmon production, the first located in Harlan, Iowa. Inland Sea has access to the full suite of technologies, systems, and know-how needed to construct and operate one of the most technologically advanced, highly automated recirculating grow-out systems in the world.
INLAND SEA'S AQUACULTURE TECHNOLOGIES
Inland Sea’s entrepreneurs, engineers and marine biologist have worked for the last decade developing systems and technologies to enable large-scale indoor fish production. Inland Sea will leverage this work to bring these next-generation RAS systems to the U.S.. Inland Sea’s new Iowa facility plans to produce and harvest approximately 5.3 million pounds of salmon annually.
