All Atlantic salmon consumed in the US are raised via aquaculture as wild stocks are depleted and under protected status. Aquaculture-raised Atlantic salmon have higher levels of omega 3s than wild salmon. They are also easier to prepare as their higher fat content allows for a more forgiving cooking process.

Our non-GMO salmon are raised humanely and under optimal conditions to promote healthy growth without using chemicals, hormones, or antibiotics. Unlike salmon raised in ocean pens, our salmon will not be exposed to ocean water which contains industrial pollutants, parasites, and micro-plastics.

  • Our salmon feed will not contain GMO ingredients.

  • DyneAqua will use algal oil and soy protein products to replace fish oil, and fish meal whenever possible.

  • Substitutions like algal oil take pressure off over-harvested forage fish stocks and help preserve delicate ocean ecosystems.
